So…this is a bit belated, but I went to Boston’s MFA the other weekend with friends and got to see the Degas exhibit there. I have some small history with Degas - ever since I was little, I would drag my parents around whichever museum we were exploring to see if they had a cast of “La Petite Danseuse De 14 Ans” - anyway, I was looking forward to playing the what-would-you-take game, thinking I already knew the answer. But, in the end, it wasn’t a sculpture but a sketch that I found myself most drawn to (bahaha). And here it is.
…I like her toes.
